What a Shame

Hosted by

“They came to Jesus and observed the man who had been demon-possessed sitting down, clothed and in his right mind, the very man who had had the “legion”; and they became frightened.” Mark 5:15

People respond differently to Jesus. For the man who lived a season of his life in terrible torment under the influence of demons, he found himself clothed and thinking rightly. Beforehand, he was shameful and shameless all at the same time. Those who should have rejoiced at the salvation and healing of God’s power, instead sent Jesus away. They would miss out and the other towns of Decapolis would benefit from the story of this man.

How do I continue to respond to Jesus and what He is doing? I find myself rejoicing even more. Every person baptized is a joy to me.

I praise God for the privilege of being part of something so important and eternanal. I thank you Lord for my calling.
