And he said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him. “But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see Him, just as He told you.'” Mark 16:6-7
When Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome went to the tomb, they found Jesus was not there. Instead an angel gave them instructions of encouragement to all the disciples, and singled out Peter. What a loving special message to the one who wept bitterly because he had denied Jesus.
God does that for me too. I feel like he says and does very special things in my life to show His very personal love and affection for me. Its amazing to be considered in this way. Do I say and do special things for Him? I want to.
Lord today, move in me. And may I find within myself very special and creative ways to appreciate you and let you know that I love you. I praise you for this life I am living.
