“Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.”
Now God allows man to pursue his lusts and just like his heart being darkened, now his heart has given into impurity. The result is that the worship of man is drifting away from God to one another or created things.
Does God alone have my worship? Or do lusts take my focus away from him?
Lord Jesus, you always do what pleases the father. May I be the same.
