“That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”
Paul saw the gospel for it’s glorious power to save everyone. It’s universal, the same story or good news applies to people everywhere, even in Rome. This love for his part created an excitement for Paul- it had transformed him.
Has the gospel transformed me? Yes. How excited am I about sharing the story of Jesus’ life and His mesage?
Lord, may I never be ashamed of you and your gospel. May it be so much a part of my life I could call it my gospel.
