They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.)”
God’s revelation of Himself in nature is now amplified by the revelation of His Holy Law. While the Jews had Moses Law, Gentiles have the witness of others who do the law as an example of the Law of God. Our God-given conscience affirms the law, our mind then acquits or condemns our behavior.
Have I known God’s law even before the gospel? Yes!
