For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens,
You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?
You who have shown me many troubles and distresses Will revive me again,
And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth. Psalm 17:19-21
While being pursued by his own son Absalom, David called out to God. In this beautiful song, he longs to fulfill God’s great purpose in his life, even when he is old.
How about me? Do I have the same youthful zeal to change the world with God? Yes! Its a bit more strategic, paced and directed these days. Romans 10:2 says ‘I perceive you have a zeal for God, but without knowledge’. I hope these days, I have both.
God, direct my steps today to your great glory. May You be more known than ever before. I pray that someone will cross the line of salvation into Your kingdom today, because of me.
