But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2:4-5
The big question of life is “Why”? The answer in part is found right here… because of God’s great love. Why am I here? Who am I? What is my purpose? If I start with the understanding that all of this is motivated by a great love of God, I will be able to find the answers to these seemingly big questions.
How has this worked out in my life? Pretty well. I have responded to the greatest love of all, Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross as a payment for my sin.
God, its all different for me now. I was dead before. Dead and lost and without answers. Now, I am alive in You. Oh Thank You Lord!
