Who Moved My Cheese?

They listened to him up to this statement, and then they raised their voices and said, “Away with such a fellow from the earth, for he should not be allowed to live!”
And as they were crying out and throwing off their cloaks and tossing dust into the air, the commander ordered him to be brought into the barracks, stating that he should be examined by scourging so that he might find out the reason why they were shouting against him that way. Acts 22:22-24

The apostle Paul upon return to Jerusalem, was arrested in the temple and when he made his defense to the crowd, they were with him, up until he mentioned that God wanted to save the Gentiles. This set them off and they wanted to kill him. The Jewish leaders didn’t like that people were believing in Jesus. The Jewish people didn’t like that Gentiles were being included in God’s plan. Nobody likes it when their view of the world and power is being taken away. The book “Who Moved My Cheese” described how little we like change.

How resilient am I with the changes God wants to make in my life?

Lord, help me discern Your will and be flexible and willing to go Your way.
