O Lord, who may abide in Your tent?
Who may dwell on Your holy hill?
He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart. Psalms 15:1-3
God wants us to live life with Him. Who is allowed? Those who are genuine, righteous and truthful. That disqualifies me and just about everyone I know. Thank God, that He imputes righteousness to us based on the perfect life of Jesus Christ. Then He continually transforms us from the inside out by the power of His abiding Holy Spirit. Day by day, we are led to walk in integrity, to do the works of righteousness and to speak truth from our heart.
Does this describe my life? Yes, to ever growing degrees. I am not the person I was a year ago, and certainly not the person I was before I invited Jesus into my life.
God, one day I will dwell in Your tent. Today, I am grateful You dwell in my tent!
