Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
This is some good advice from the apostle Paul, in light of the end of the world. Paul describes conditions in the world leading up to ‘The Day of the Lord’. And then he says how to act: joyful, prayerful, thankful! This is God’s will for me today as well.
Do these qualities mark my life? Yes, they do.
Lord, even in this very tough time, I praise You. I am thankful for many things, prayerful that You will guide me, and joyful because You are with me.
