In view of this, I also do my best to maintain always a blameless conscience both before God and before men. Acts 24:16
When the apostle Paul made his defense before Felix, he revealed that his conscience was what guided him in his life. He obeyed the scriptures and God’s prophets as well as the teachings and revelation of Jesus Christ. He received a power to endure persecution and a boldness to speak the truth in love.
Does my conscience inform me clearly? Am I continually growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ so my conscience can be fully informed by truth?
God, thank you that You have given me a conscience to resonate with what is right and true. I am grateful for the abiding presence of Your Holy Spirit in me. Lead and guide me in righteousness today. I love You and will serve You all the days of my life.
