Then Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the sons of Israel, saying, “This is the word which the Lord has commanded. If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or takes an oath to bind himself with a binding obligation, he shall not violate his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. Numbers 30:1-2
The Bible says we should keep our vows, even when it hurts. Its a matter of honesty and integrity. While circumstances may cause us to fail in this area, it should always be our goal to keep our vows to the Lord and one another.
Are there any vows that I have made to the Lord that remain unfulfilled? Anyone else?
God, remind me whenever I am overdue on commitments to You. I am so glad you invite me to participate in Your kingdom purposes. I will do my best to keep my vows.
