Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. I was still unknown by sight to the churches of Judea which were in Christ; but only, they kept hearing, “He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy.” And they were glorifying God because of me. Galatians 1:22-24

We all have a life story. It continues to be written as long as we live. Paul writes in his introduction to the the church in Galatia that he came to them largely unknown, except by his reputation. His story was that he formerly persecuted Christians, but then he experienced a radical transformation followed by several years of growing in his faith and knowledge of Jesus the Messiah. Now, he was ministering to people and sharing the gospel that changed his life. His obedience to God caused him to lead an extraordinary life. The same offer is for any person today.

How obedient am I to God’s call? What is the next chapter in my story?

God, as this day begins, remind me again that You are writing my story and all the days are recorded in Your book. May I please You today as I reach and love people in Your name. Let’s write another great chapter today.
