Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. John 2:23-4
Following His first miracle in Cana and subsequent signs in Jerusalem, people believed in Jesus name. Interestingly, they must have lacked a complete or true faith. Jesus didn’t entrust Himself to them.
How about my faith? Do I merely believe in Jesus name or in Him? Do I have a personal relationship with Him, or superficial and distant reverence for Him?
Jesus, many prayers and conversations are in our history. Again today, I want to declare my allegiance and trust in You 100%. Thank you for entrusting Yourself to me.
