Involving God in our plans and goals is an important part of being successful. I am not talking about the outcome as success, but rather the process. The moment I pray and ask God to check my motives and ask ‘are my ways clean’?, I am on the successful path. True success is to develop Christlike character. In other words, to be like Jesus in word, thought and deed.
How can I commit my work to the Lord today? Are all my ways clean?
God, we have so much to be about today… with people and projects. I need Your wisdom and energy and direction. Would you help me, so I can be a help to others. I pray especially for those who are suffering loss and hurting, that I may be an encouragement to them. I want to be a true success in Your eyes.
