But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. James 3:17
The Bible says there is earthly wisdom and wisdom from above. Earthly wisdom relies upon what is seen, known and personally experienced as its source. It produces less than what God desires. But, notice what God;y wisdom brings with it… purity, peace, gentleness etc.
I wonder which source I am tapping into most often? I bet I rely upon my own wisdom far too much.
God, remind me to look to You and Your Word for making decisions, solving problems and addressing opportunities. Jesus, You are the wisdom from above.
