Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. Joshua 1:7
I saw a movie with Michael J. Fox back in 1983 called “the secret of my success”. His success was studying business and his relationship to a large corporation’s CEO. The Bible says we have success if we are strong, very courageous, and careful (to do what God commands). Pretty simple formula, really. Not always easy to do.
How is my strength?… my courage?… and my obedience. I feel strong and courageous the more I spend time praying through the situations of life. Its then, that God encourages me. Overall, yes, I am obedient to God.
God, I want to open up every area of life to be obedient to You. Oh how faithful You are. Draw me close to You. I praise You for the amazing blessings you have placed in my life. I praise You for who You are. Knowing You is true success.
