But the path of the just is like the shining sun,
That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

They do not know what makes them stumble. Proverbs 4:18-19
In his beautiful admonition to ‘get wisdom’, Solomon comments on what his father David taught him (and even a greater source, what God taught him). He reminds us that righteous people walk with purpose and understanding- like the shining sun. Wicked people wander in darkness and are largely ignorant of what it is that makes them stumble. Wow! This is one reason why people live in poverty or get caught up in the justice system and repeatedly incarcerated. The answer to ignorance is knowledge with wisdom. Wisdom being the godly application of knowledge. Education can help. Christian education can really help!
How passionate am I about the godly education of the next generation?
God, I pray for Crossroads Christian School and our Youth Ministries to be a light giving and life giving source for thousands. May be impart knowledge and wisdom to young people… and moreover a personal relationship with You. Draw hundreds to yourself through us. Give us favor.
