Nehemiah was faced with opposition to God’s plan to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. His response was to both pray and post a guard day and night. Great wisdom. The Bible says “having done all to stand, stand therefore”. Often we pray but do not post a guard, or worse, we post a guard and do not pray.
