For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, But the righteous man shall live by faith. Romans 1:16-17
In perhaps the greatest theological treatise written, the Apostle Paul declares his unwavering commitment to the message of God that He received and dedicated his life to sharing. Why is the message of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus so important? For this message has the power to save people and connect them in a personal way to their very creator. And, as Paul points out, it is activated by our faith and His imputed righteousness. Who would be ashamed of that message?
Am I excitedly sharing the gospel with as many people as I can?
God, thank you for a blessed Easter day. As this week begins, please lead and guide me in Your righteous ways and help me see opportunities to share the gospel with people who need salvation.
