So He went in to stay with them. When He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him. Luke 24:29-30
Jesus revealed Himself after his resurrection to the two men walking on the road to Emmaus. He did it while reclining with them and breaking bread. I wonder if it was a moment very similar to three days earlier in the upper room? Isn’t it great that Jesus uses experiences in our lives like this to make meaningful memories with us that build up our faith?
Lord, today I am excited about what lies ahead. I pray there will be a moment where you reveal Yourself and your will in a very special way. I will be looking for it.
