Then He said to them, “How is it that they say the Christ is David’s son?
For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’
Therefore David calls Him ‘Lord,’ and how is He his son?” Luke 20:32-44
Jesus is the Lord of the universe. What a profound revelation it is that God has entered the world as a suffering servant. The promised Messiah born in the lineage of David would conquer death and the enemy of our soul. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father. In His prophetic psalm, David says “The Lord, said to my Lord”. In other words, God the Father spoke to God the Son.
Is Jesus Lord of my life? Yes.
God, what a wonderful day it is already. Would you lead and guide me throughout it. I want to be available as my Lord needs me.
