In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12
Jesus shared this simple and profound concept, that I should treat other people in the way that I want to be treated. Its a wonderful standard for our behavior. It epitomizes the motive God has for His Holy law… namely that we would love one another. Jesus said, a new command I give you, that you love as I have loved you. Now that’s golden!
Do I consider others first? Do I consider them at all?
God, thank you that Jesus considered me and laid down His life on my behalf. Help me, by the power of Your indwelling Holy Spirit to consider others. I want to stay gold.
