And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name’s sake, will receive many times as much, and will inherit eternal life. Matthew 19:29
This passage is known as the disciple’s reward. Jesus’ closes friends and followers asked about their reward for giving everything up and following Him. Jesus told them at one time their reward would be a hundred fold both now and in heaven (Mark 10:30).
Do I understand what an amazing reward awaits and is now available to me? Am I living like it? Yes, to a good degree.
God, I am so glad I found and followed Jesus. The difference is my life has been so worth it. I feel as if I have given up very little (certainly, You may ask for anything at anytime), but have received so much more.
