The Apostle Paul wanted to bring a financial gift to the Christians in Jerusalem and he invited the believers in Rome to participate. Since the spiritual things that Gentile believers had came from the Jews (and Jerusalem), it was fitting that they should share materially.

Lord, how can I show my appreciation materially with those who have blessed me spiritually? Give me great and well fit ideas.
