There is no wisdom and no understanding and no counsel against the Lord. Proverbs 21:30
People have lots of opinions about many things. But, it is all folly compared to what God has decreed and revealed in Jesus Christ. You can claim worldly wisdom, or some new insight into humanity or get a bunch of minds to agree about an issue, but if its contrary to the Lord, it is nothing!
Are there any opinions, understanding, or wisdom of my own making that is contrary to what God has revealed in His Word or in the person of Jesus Christ?
Please examine me throughout the day Lord. Bring to my remembrance Bible passages and teachings of Jesus. Whenever I am contrary to You in word, thought or action, convict me by the abiding presence of Your Spirit in my life. I desire Your counsel. I claim the promise, ‘if any many lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all generously’. Thank You. I love you.
