Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:8
The Bible says while we are to live with a generous amount of grace for the failings of others, there is a place in the body of Christ when we part ways with professing believers who willfully live a lifestyle of immorality. Interestingly, Paul draws our attention to the imagery of communion and passover to remind us the importance of living with sincerity and truth as high values in our lives.
How about me? Am I living in sincerity and truth? Yes.
Lord, thank you for Your wonderful grace. May I never take it for granted and cheapen it. Sincerely, Yours!
