They captured fortified cities and a fertile land.
They took possession of houses full of every good thing, hewn cisterns, vineyards, olive groves, fruit trees in abundance.

My son and I were driving behind a car with a US Marines emblem. The marines have a saying “Semper Fi” Always Faithful! The children of Israel entered into the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. While the grumblers and complainers died in the wilderness, the faithful ones entered into a place with every provision made for them. God fulfilled His promise. He is faithful!
Have I entered into the promises of God? Am I experiencing a land flowing with milk and honey? Yes, in so many ways. The Christian life has been one promise of God after another… joy, purpose, and provision.
God, may my complaints be fewer and fewer as I trust in You and find that You are always faithful.
