The word ‘routine’ sounds negative, boring, unspiritual. But, creating routines that bring spiritual growth (like workout routines for an athlete), is good! It produces good now and for all eternity.
That’s why getting up and starting my day with the Bible, participating in prayer meetings and Bible study is important. Have I really planned my days and weeks and months with the intent to become godly? Yes, I beileve I have.
God, today is a day to gather with other Christians for worship and mutual encouragement. I pray that You are the center of our attentions and that as a result we become more like Jesus today.
