The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.
They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.
Moreover, by them Your servant is warned;
In keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:7-11
Who wants to have soul level restoration, wisdom, happy heart, enlightened eyes, complete righteousness, that endures forever? I do! From where do these precious gifts come? God and His law, testimony, precepts, commands, and judgments. Wow. Now that’s a reason to study the Bible and history of God’s people and His interactions with us. What a reward!
What is lacking in my life? Is there a scripture that describes God’s will or His way?
God, as this day continues, would You add these rich rewards to my life as I look daily into Your Word. Thank you for Jesus, my model and guide and teacher in all things. May I please Him as My Master today.
