A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.
Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all. Proverbs 22:1-2

A reputation is valuable. Today we talk a lot about brands and the positive or negative emotions attached to them. Nike and Starbucks are strong identifiers that are almost always positive. Kmart. Nothing more need be said.

What do I want? A good name and reputation or material wealth? When it comes down to meeting my Maker, I will take the good name, since ultimately I am representing Him.

God, I want to serve You well and represent You in such a way that gives You glory… wherein Your character is reflected in me.
