The Lord opens the eyes of the blind;
The Lord raises up those who are bowed down;

I remember in the 1980’s when it seems like we created acronyms for everything… someone began saying PTL (Praise the Lord). I thought it was trite, but the intent was good. Psalm 146 says we should praise the Lord because of who He is and what He does! In this wonderful psalm the loving character of God is revealed. He is actively involved in the daily affairs of men. He always has been and always will be… “to all generations”. Our response is simply to praise and thank Him.
How has God opened up my eyes?… raised me up when I am down?… Have I praised Him for all His goodness? Have I become one through whom God can display His love in the world?
God, I want to be Your “go to” guy, always available and useful to You. May I recognize and respond to the opportunities to reach out and love people in Your name today.
