For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10
Paul reminded the believers in Galatia that he didn’t become a disciple of Jesus in order to please anyone else but God. This gave him an authority and confidence to say the hard thing.
Am I clear about whom I am trying to please?
Lord Jesus, I will stand before You one day. I walk by your leading and guiding each day. So, my aim will be to please You.
