Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
For a second time, the apostle Paul reminds us to rejoice. Its the right response of a believer as we live our lives in Christ. Why? Because no matter what, we have access to Him and His power and with Him comes peace.
How is my joy today? Is is off the charts incredible (lol, that’s a personal shout out to our pastor Chuck). Actually, it is for the most part. Am I experiencing a sense of well-being and peace, even in the uncertainties of life that lead to anxiousness? Yes.
God, I praise You that for giving me this life and the ability to bring all things to You in prayer. Your counsel and provision are more than enough. Please continue to provide beyond my knowledge and expectation. Bless my wife and I, even as You have.
