There is a paranoia that accompanies evil and unrighteousness. But, at the same time, righteousness has an inherent power.
When I am walking close to God, doing what He desires, and avoiding sin; I feel confident in every situation. But, doing things on my own always produces a feeling of being lost and lacking power. Paul warned about having an appearance of godliness without the power that accompanies, true godliness.
God, I want to know You and the inner power that comes with the abiding presence and controlling influence of Your Spirit. I commit this day to You and Your ways.
