Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. Romans 14:4
In matters of opinion, we are to avoid judging each other and actually defer to the weaker brother. That means if someone has a rule in their life about food, or observing a day to the Lord, and we don’t, we should honor that person.
How conscious am I of others? Have I hurt someone by excercising my freedom in Christ? Am I willing to lay down my “rights” for the sake of another?
Lord help me have your value system. I want to love You first and foremost, and others ahead of myself, especially in matters of mere opinion. Help me be clear on essentials that I will not compromise, but very flexible in other areas.
