There are times when it seems like God is silent or slow in responding to our problems. In these times King David poured his heart out to God, expressing his emotions that were all over the map. And often in the end of his songs set to prayers (the Psalms), he reflected on God’s character.
Have I become this intimate with God, where I express all in my heart? Have I also come to know Him in His character, love, and mercy?
Lord, I too trust in Your loving-kindness. I will rejoice in Your salvation. Today, I will sing with great joy, because You have and continue to deal bountifully with me. Hallelujah!
