In the letter to the Romans, Paul reminds the people with a Jewish heritage that when it comes to sin, we are all equally guilty before God. Their special lineage and history with God will not save them before our Holy Judge. Only the salvific work of Jesus Christ upon the cross atones for sin.
Do I rely upon anything else to put me in a right standing and relationship with God? No, it really is grace that I rely upon.
Jesus this morning I am remembering afresh that its only by Your shed blood that I have come into this love relationship with God. You made the way.
