A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones. Proverbs 12:4
Solomon recognized that the character of a wife is a great joy and sense of pride to a man. Proverbs 5:18 says to husbands that when it comes to our wives, we are to enjoy the physical intimacy, and even more what we are to be ‘forever enraptured by her love’. How it it possible? As we discover greater aspects of her growing Christ-like character.
I feel very fortunate in this way. My wife continues to display amazing godliness and continually reveals God’s wonderful work within her life as aspects of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and self-control are on display in her life.
God, thank you for such a wonderful life partner! She reminds me of You.
