Giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited. 2 Corinthians 2:3
The apostle Paul lived his life in such a way that people would see his ministry and the gospel in a favorable light. It didn’t always happen. There are always those who are against Christians, God, and the work of His church.
How about me? Do I care for the reputation of Christ, the gospel, and the ministry? Oh yes. Like Paul, I do not want to give an cause for offense.
Oh Lord, help me minister in such a way as to bring glory and honor to You and Your name.
