Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:23-25
KFI radio has a slogan “More Stimulating Talk Radio”. I want to be someone who Stimulates Love and Good Deeds in others. Make me that kind of “Radio”, Lord. Jesus faithfully lived and sacrificed for our sake. In response, the author of Hebrews says we should be firm and secure in our faith because of God won’t let us down. We should look for ways to spur one another on to become the people God desires. This means we should get together for encouragement, especially as the time of Jesus return gets closer.
Is this my attitude and practice? Am I actively involved in the lives of other Christians, helping them grow in Christlikeness? I hope so, I am a pastor after all. Lol Actually, I have devoted my life to this end.
Lord Jesus, oh what You have done for me! May I be found faithful, that is my desire.
