Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself. John 5:25
When I was a kid, sometimes people would shout an exclamation: “Man alive!”. I’m not sure what it means, but it was fun to shout. When a person hears Jesus words and understands His life and receives Him and puts their faith in God, its like a dead person becoming alive. Maybe thats why Jesus said ‘you must be born again’. This is what God is doing, not necessarily making bad people good (that happens), but making dead people truly alive.
I feel more alive and full of purpose than any time in my life. The more I know Him and follow, the greater sense of life and vitality I experience.
Jesus, is this what you meant by the abundant life? Its awesome. I look forward to what you will do in me today. Who can I bless in your name?
