Paul wanted men to embrace a lifestyle that included praying everywhere and lifting up holy hands. Meanwhile his instruction to women was a life adorned with good works. In all this there was the expectation that a man would lead out in teaching the law (old testament) to his family. Sometimes, strong women need to make way (remain quiet) for their husbands to excel.
Do I verbally share the truths of God with my sons and daughter? Am I the vocal one in my family who looks at the days activities, the world’s news and put it into God’s perspective for those in my family? I better study God’s word and know Him, so I am equipped to provide that value.
God teach me, so I can teach them. Let me model Christ-like character and have the wisdom to express Your word and Your mind in all situations.
