Something very positive happens to me when I get the ‘Creator – Creature’ relationship right. When I realize that He alone is God, and I have a profound need for His power and strength in my life and in response I recognize that He is worthy of honor and heartfelt love and obedience.
Its then that I realize afresh that He is present (everywhere), speaking and changing circumstances with such power that He levels a forest or causes a deer to give birth to its young.
How often, have I tried to make my way through the day neglecting the voice and will of God only to miss the power of God that is readily available?
God, as this day begins, I will be looking and listening for You and Your movement in this world. I will worship You in the beauty of holiness.
