Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance. Titus 2:2
As we men mature, there are characteristics that should mark our lives. They tend to describe characteristics of “stability”. And that makes sense, because the more I walk with God, the more I trust in Him and understand His ways.
How about me, am I temperant? (Do I over indulge?). Am I dignified? Sensible or insensible? Do I possess a sound faith and doctrine? How is my love quotient? Do I stick with things to the end?
Lord, what a great list of qualities to admire and to appropriate in my life. Help me in every way become who you want me to be.
