Proverbs 28
Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law strive with them. v6
Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand all things. v6
When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous increase. v28
There is a tendency within several levels of government these days to ignore laws for the sake of expediency, political gain or personal preference. The danger is that inadvertently the wicked are praised and law enforcement become much more difficult. This is why we need to see God in our decision making. Without Him, evil and misunderstanding of justice occurs.
In my circle of influence, am I seeking God and working within laws, policies and rules?
God, thank you that You are righteous and just. You are also full of mercy. I am grateful for Your longsuffering and love expressed to me. May I operate with integrity and justice and faith.
