Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment. John 7:24
While its better not to judge at all, when we do make judgments, Jesus says we are to do it rightly and not according to just what is seen. How is this possible? God alone is the perfect judge. That’s why Jesus will judge the world.
Do I make too many judgments according to appearance? Or do I take time to investigate and understand what’s really going on, the motives, and the reasons for what people do? This is the thoughtful kind of person I want to be.
Lord, I will leave most judgments to You. When I must judge, please help me do it rightly.
