Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Bring the tribe of Levi near and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him. They shall perform the duties for him and for the whole congregation before the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle. Exodus 3:5-7
God designated thousands of the tribe of Levi to serve Aaron in the priestly duties. Their work was organized and specifically spelled out in job descriptions. No one with too great a load to carry, literally.
I love the sense of order God has in His character. I think this is the case in the church today too. Everyone has a job to perform in service to the Lord.
God, help more and more people find their place within the church to serve You and carry a load. May they find the joy in serving You each day.
