And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Luke 12:22-23
Jesus told his closest friends that our life and body are far more valuable than what we put into them or onto them. Amazing.
So why do I worry about such things? Call it human nature. How cool would it be to say the famous words of Alfred E. Neuman (cover of Mad Magazine)… “What?, Me Worry?”.
How can I fully trust in God? See everything the way He does. He never worries.
Lord Jesus, show me how and why life is more than food and the body is more than clothing. I believe You. And oh, how I want to see the world as You do. Help me today recognize this great truth so I could say. “What?… Me Worry? Nope!”
