Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:1-2
God has a book. In it is every name of those who have put their faith and trust in Him. Could Daniel have foreseen the rapture of the church in his vision? He saw Michael the archangel advocating for Israel and that God would rescue believers (those found in the book of life) from a great time of trouble or tribulation.
Do I realize that God has a plan to rescue me in tribulation? Am I walking in faith?
Lord Jesus, sometimes I forget that You have plans to rescue believers who are undergoing tribulations. Help me see how You are moving in my life today. Thank you for causing some projects to move forward. I will try to move in step with You. I am so glad my name is written in Your book.
